Ahmed Osman is the independent Egyptologist who published in 1990 the identification of Moses as Akhnaton. In 1999 he has been invited by the American Society for Oriental Researches to speak there in Boston, while his work gets a larger audience every years (hence Sauniere Society).

A note by Zenon:

In the model of the Herd of Sheep, when one is visibly taking one path, all the flock follows. In the model of the 1000 monkeys, there is no beginner, but at the same moment a new behaviours comes up for all.

There may be a third model in the human community when folks repress at first the novelty - there one finds what we call Intuition, Unconscious etc...

Ahmed has published his Akhnaton-Moses in 1990 - let's say - when the identification of Akhnaton as Moses AND Oedipus had been in 1985.

Still today Ahmed's thesis - reported as "the Egyptian roots of Christianity were deliberately covered up by the early Church" - makes 'flattering reviews' as a herd may follow him out of a Jeep. But if we stay on the wagon of Western civilization, we shall find there, that the 'Egyptian roots' have already been extensively questioned during the Renaissance (from Ficinus to Bruno - see the historian F.A.Yates, and her Giordano-Bruno-and-the-Hermetic-Tradition as for example).

Secondly, as people living within a Renaissance and looking after it everywhere else, the denounced covering up hides what it indicates. For what is covered under Ahmed's Herd is - not the Egyptian roots - but the Greeks. It is obvious that Freud, Karl Abraham, then Velikovsky, and finally clearly my 1985 report, build up an intuition until the discovery of Oedipus, as well as Moses for the repressed Akhnaton.

The third model that I refer to is not of 1000s, even not of masses, but of the 'plural', that is the Freudian logic of collective. The Unconscious knowledge of the Akhnaton-Moses-Oedipus identity of the Triplex (aka Hermes Trismegistus, patron of Alchemists) has been operating during the entire last century. As 'Unconscious' it manifests as a symptom if it is repressed.

We certainly live in a Renaissance since the Triplex identity is once again threatened, but hopefully the Inquisition has not come yet - unless it is the satanization of brain Alchemistry - we just need to be vigilant.

Zenon
