WHAT DOES AKHNATON MEAN FOR CHRISTIANITY

Welcome Everyone!

I shall speak during 1/2H - then Mr. Ahmed Osman - then Mr. Charles Pope - after what questions may be asked; and eventually, a conversation will follow.
I am myself William Theaux, a psychoanalyst who lives currently in Manhattan.
It was never easy to express my thoughts in my natural language - so in English it is sometimes close to a catastrophe. Fortunately it usually allows a certain quantity of information to be transmitted, and hopefully just what is necessary.

I'll present the work of a famous historian, late Frances Yates, who worked in Italy and in England at the Royal University of London, during the 20th century.

Yates has described AN EVENT - WHICH LAST 16 CENTURIES from the beginning of Christianity - in other words a Pre-Renaissance & a Renaissance phases

1. This event may be named Hermes Thot Trismegistus

2. Hermes is an ancient Greek name which represents a traveller messenger

3. Thoth is an ancient Egyptian name representing a Law giver - especially giving the Law of Writings

A Solar Egyptian King, founder of Monotheism, traveller and Law giver

1. The compound Hermes Thot TRISMEGISTUS was introduced in Christianity by the Father of the Church - who designated in him the

2. FOUNDER OF MONOTHEISM in the humankind;

3. they depicted him as a Pharaoh, an Egyptian King

LATER IN EUROPE Middle-Ages - the monotheist Pharaoh Hermes Trismegistus was the PATRON OF ALCHEMISTS

1. He had left Emerauld Tables on which were inscribed the Laws of Nature

2. His teachings were delivered through texts, articles and books, call HERMETICA

3. They were so spiritual and religious that under his influence, Europe was at that time counting with 4 Monotheisms

(Chronologically, beginning with the most ancient: Hermetism, then Judaism, Christianity and Islam).

The Repression at the end of the Renaissance

On the base of these 4 Monotheisms, THE RENAISSANCE IMPOSED A SEVERE CENSORSHIP AND REPRESSION BOTH OF THE TRADITION AND THE MEMORY OF HT3

In 1600, , the Inquisition with a limited set of arguments alleged that HT3 was not historical, even less than a legend or a fantasm, but a forgery.

Therefore it did not deserved any interest

This is giving to our century an opportunity for a learning about a Mechanism of Amnesia

It shows that AFTER A TRAUMA follow AN OBLIVION PLUS A TABOO

Our century witnesses indeed what a dim memory we have of these 4 Monotheisms.

The 20th century witnesses also the discredit of Alchemy whith a taboo which prevented our education to teach us with this information.

So, if we can presently talk about it - this is because the amnesia is currently in a process of being removed.

Archeology in the mid-century has found documents in the Nag Hammadi library in Egypt which definitely contradict the accusation of FORGERY.

Actually there is no argument for any invalidation of HT3's memory whose teaching stand equally besides the Bible, the Upanishad, Confucius or the Tao and other illustrious references

The Object and the Reason for Amnesia

With this forceful rehabilitation, the taboo gradually yield to the recovery of memory and historians can firstly retrieve WHO was HT3

He was called Triplex or Trismegistus which means Triple Master for - ONE - in Egypt he had founder a Solar City, and - TWO - he was the initiator of Moses and - THREE - the initiator Orpheus .in Greece.

Historian can also retreive WHY he has been repressed by the Renaissance

From 1500 until 1600 - with new and well substantiated evidence THE PHARAOH TRISMEGISTUS began to be identified as Moses himself - during one century, scholar thought that they were one and the same person instead of a Master and disciple

The Logic of Duality - door to Conspiracy

Although it may had been surprising, the VERY CAUSE of the Repression resides further - in a Logic of Duality.

During the 16th century several Popes regressed into Ancient Egypt worship, intending to retrieve the purity of the original source - concurrently Christianity was seen as a blend of Cabala and Orphic Hymns which was interpreted as bad magic.

The case of Moses-Monotheist pharaoh had built a logic of duality which was endangering Christianity, and the Vatican had little choice, rather than seeing Christianity discarded, THE INQUISITION TERMINATED HT3 instead and it suppressed his memory.

Christianity would continue with an absence and a taboo.

The Logic of Duality - door to Diagnosis

In its mechanism, this process had revealed the weakness of the Hellenic link (Trismegistus-Orpheus) in comparison with the solid equation of Mose-Pharaoh.

Subsequently, in the Post Renaissance, a series of occult and esoteric school attempted to decipher the Hellenic face of HT3

The way of Oedipus

Noticeably these investigations sought support in the figure of OEDIPUS.

JUST AFTER THE RENAISSANCE

The Jesuit Linguist, Kircher, in France in Avignon titled his study Oedipus Aegyptianus.

Later during the Revolution in Paris, and creating the Fellibrige School in Avignon, the EgyptoHebraic linguist D'Olivet and the Fellibriges in Avignon, linked the Orphic poetic Alphabet with Hieroglyphs.

Further we arrive IN THE 20th CENTURY

The initiated and poet Jean Cocteau - describes the consequences of ignoring Oedipus behind Orpheus.

Today in the USA, the scientist Martin Bernal - Cornell University - in his study 'Black Athena' describes how Oedipus must be recognized as an African

During this 20th, of course we find also a major study about Oedipus, which has been undergone by S.Freud.

Remarkably Freud did not link Oedipus to Africa...

And this particularity gives a key for a...

Second Event which took place at the beginning of the 20th Century with the discovery of Akhnaton

The PLACE of Akhnaton in the HISTORY OF EGYPT is striking : he reigns at the peak of 18th Dynasty of Egypt which is the highest of all empires in the ancient world. Hence his predecessor? his father, is the wealthiest Pharaoh. His wife? She is the most well known Queen Nefertiti. One of his son? Nobody less than the famous Tutankhamon. His principal successor? the illustrious pharaoh, Ramses.2 after whom Egypt begins a continuous decline.

So surrounded by the most famous figures in Egyptology, Akhnaton had been forgotten though he established the first Monotheism in Egypt - he also had attempted a unique international policy; he built a solar capital in the name of his god Aton - but in the midst of intense difficulties he was threatened and, suddenly, disappeared. There is no information about his death. His mummy has never been found and his tomb was never occupied.

Remarkably, there are strong indications that Akhnaton was Hebrew by his mother.

After his disappearance from Egypt, History shows the birth of Israel and Athens with the first League of Delos. Meanwhile his deserted city is raised to the ground. He is deleted from the records that Egyptians kept so well of their kings. And under Ramses.2 to pronounce his name could be punishable by death.

With all these indications about both HT3 and Akhnaton, one must think that HT3 must have been the memory of Akhnaton. But things are not so easy and they reflect a rigorous process that may be called the PRINCIPLE OF SUBSTANTIATION of the memories

I shall explain this with the help of an imaginary scenario

First Law of Substantiation - Images and Places

Let's imagine that someone has the memory of a book-shop with a blue door & a sun painted on the window in a street where the Dalaii went down when he visited the UN at a certain date; But who knows where this memory come from? - for memory are like dream , they are virtual, they may have no reality and be mere illusions in fact. Let's continue to imagine that concurrently an Historian may discovers with documents maps and photographs, that, at the time of this visit of the Dalaii Lama, there was, in a same street where he passed down, a book-shop with a blue door & a sun painted on the window. This scientist may say that this historical fact has nothing to do with the previous memory which may still be a phantasm.

This is exactly what scholars have first said when they have been in position to compare HT3 with Akhnaton

For a first law rules the Process of Substantiation which is the coincidence between the memory, virtual, images with an historical place - an address so to speak .This is a requisite what so ever may the amount of detail and resemblance between memories and facts.

Historicity of Trismegistus

This is the case with HT3 - for the Father's Chruch took their reference for Trismegistus in the city where Hermes had been worshipped prior to Christianity - which was Hermopolis Magna - which had been built exactly at the same place where stood previously the city of Akhnatonnaton - that is at the same address so to speak on the Nile.

Once our eyes open to this, just and only this now is definitely guarantying the substantiation of HT3 as Akhnaton

Second Law of Substantiation - consistance of Plurality

The process of Substantiation of memories shows a Second Law that is of Multiplicity - for the longer a repression lasts, the more it gives way to emergence of substitutes figures in the place of the repressed origin.

The Oedipus base of plurality

This Multiplicity has been demonstrated in 1960 by Immanuel Velikovsky when he achieved the identification of Oedipus with Akhnatonnaton.
Based on the large amount of information given by SOPHOCLES and other authors, which match the data which is later recovered by Egyptology, Immanuel Velikovsky showed that Oedipus and Akhnatonnaton are one and the same person.

We can therefore write the equation of three substantiations

HT3=Akhnaton=OED

Then we see the continuation of the Law of Multiplicity for - with the previous history of Trismegistus, we can attach Orpheus to the equation

HT3=Akhnaton=OED=ORPH

Even the legendary Pheaton in Greece is another substitute who can link to the chain & become substantiated

HT3=Akhnaton=OED=ORPH=Pheaton

We are ready to sum up the full detailed memory recovery which took place in the 20th Century.

The display of the Law of Multiplicity has started with Sigmund Freud who began with its resistance.

After the discovery of Akhnaton in 1910, Freud is the first author who brings close Akhnaton to Moses (1930)

He saw them as the Master and his disciple

Pre-Renaissance in the 20th Century

Meanwhile, as said earlier he underlines the Greek memory in relation to Monotheism, but he keeps it aloof from Africa.

FREUD therefore has RE-ESTABLISHED in the 20th century the TYPICAL Pre-RENAISSANCE structure of realism when HT3 was related but separated from Moses and the Hellenic representation.

Thirty years later, in 1960, Velikovsky substantiated the link to Hellenism

Renaissance in the 20th Century

Therefore in 1985, when I resumed Freud's analysis and brought Moses and Akhnatonnaton even closer, up to making them one and the same person, I was shifting and re-establishing the Renaissance structure of realism - when Moses was identified as HT3 - with the difference this time, that nowadays, the Hellenic link is well substantiated.

Instead of a logic of duality (with its discarding and destructive consequences) I could describe a Triple identification : AMOed and, actually, I was rapidly able to integrate HT3 and thus completing an AMOHO.

Renaissance (Buddhits Reincarnation) or Awakening

'HT3=Akhnaton=OED=ORPH=Pheaton=Moses'... All these names designate one and the same person, following the law of multiple substitutes which emerge into a Psychohistory during the latent phases of memory.

All this was done with the sole support of Plural Analysis - a system that I have developed as part of my practice and that I apply to the recovery of collective memory - but in 1985, I had no expertise in hard egyptology.

In 1990, I met Ahmed Osman - to whom I yield now the platform...
