What is Grey Literature ?
'Grey Literature' is the information and resource that does not categorically fall into what is available via standard traditional or commercial publishing channels. What is it in other words? Grey Literature is simply what was repressed and censored in the Freudian sense.
Lately scholars have been discovering that there is a grey literature
as there is dark mater in the cosmos. Actualy they are not yet ready
to admit that it is their oppression which is filling up the collective knowledge
with this grey matter. There is no more reason to wait for them. Their current
state of activity will last as the Inquisition lasted and eventually vanished
(into the University). For the true religion which is coming is Science.
But not the science of current scholars which is like the theology of the
inquisitors.
The Science that I honor with a capital letter, is what I (try to) describe currently in the book - The Veil - that I am writing. It has originated on the Primal Scene of Amarna. It has continued as Hermetism. Of course, it has been constantly corrupted. It has survived into what Freud called our science when he was talking about Psychoanalysis. It testifies for consciousness as it is aware of itself. It is Cybernetics. It is an observation which counts with the observor. It is simple, yet it is not at all what scholars have done so far.
One of the first thing that I must do on this Akhmosoed web site, is to justify
what I mean when I speak about scholars. Sometimes, it may seem that I cannot
find words harsh enough to qualify them. But I do not blame them. It may
be seen as an offense, but it is not my intention. I am interested in describing
the structure of life, the way nature works - and this would not be possible
without saying what is putrescent. There is no ill attempt when a doctor
describe what is sick. When Freud was writing Civilization and its
discontents he was really shy for our present day. Civilization is sick,
ill. The mental state of mankind is madness. It is not an offense to say
this.
As many of us, scholars do their best to solve the problem. This is why there
is no blame in my words. They simply follow a linguistic law which builds
up the Unconscious with narcissistic infatuation and denegation. What kind
of Psychoanalyst would I be if I were not saying to the one who seeks for
himself the clue that he displays, that he is sick if I noticed it? If scholars
want to reach their goal and honor the assignment they have endorsed from
the collectivity, I am sure that they will appreciate any information that
may detect and help them overcome any handicap. This is why honnest scholars
are interested in Psychoanalysis point of view about the neurosis they are
caught with.
Here is the information what Science (Psychoanalysis) can let them know and mind about the censorship technique of the Aristotelian method:
Aristotle divided the undividable Truth into species. In so doing, he gave to Plato the premiss of the Lie, after what Psychoanalysis can overcome the Idealization (narcissism) of Plato's stage. The censorship which is inherent to species-lization is shown when Egyptologists say (as I heard them so many times): don't ask me to consider anything about the Bible or Hellenism, I am a serious scholar, so I stick to my speciality. Then Bible researchers will say the same about Hellenism and/or Egyptology in his regard. Then the Hellenist alike. They will also qualify other approach than their as amateur's or crank's.
The combination of Truth as a triple lie is illustrated by the Borromean Knot (from the Borromeo Family in Milan/Italy during the Renaissance) which has been used as a blason for Psychoanalysis by Jacques Lacan.
