The
AMO theory (standing for Akhnaton=Moses=Oedipus) was presented in New York
in March 1999. It rehabilitates and reveals the historicity of Hermes Thoth
- the 'Triple Master' also known as Trismegistus, who was an important legend
and figure in Antiquity, Europe and the Western World until the moment when
his memory was repressed after the Renaissance.
Trismegistus
displays a Memory process which used multiple names for remembering the ancient
pharaoh Akhnaton, crossing over three thousand years of repeated censorship
and deletion from official records. Although paradoxical, memory is enforced
by such repressions - comparable with a vaccine effect - preparing for the
moment when time is ready to use historical evidences with reliability. Hence,
the overall experience teaches us how memory normally functions.
------
In
respect with a current questioning, regarding the way in which the authenticity
of facts may be guarantied, the term 'conspiracy' designates the fate which
universally strikes any vital information at a collective scale. Mankind's
awareness is conditioned by a two pole based structure, between Power and
Ownership. It implements our knowledge with a continuous resource of Paranoia
and Conspiracy (respectively in individual and collective perspective).
Concurrently, Civilization is doomed to elaborate an antidote or a ruse against
that Death Drive which threatens Truth and even reality itself.
Our
perceptions, as well as any historical fact and event, always begin on a
primal, yet fragile and contestable reality, which can always be denied by
a lie. We call this Primary Process. In order to create an antidote against
the Conspiracy opportunity, our Collective psychology implements each one
of us with a Psyche which is loaded with a virtual reflection of these suspected
facts that memory seeks to guarantying as real. This set of images and memories
(Psyche) constitutes a virtual reality, that we call a Secondary Process,
which is an attracting decoy for all Conspiracies. They can there be denounced,
treated and eventually neutralized. Once so immunized, Knowledge is set to
retrieve the historical fact (Primary Process) anew and to discriminate what
is Real.
The
career of Trismegistus exemplifies this process. During the first 1500 years
of Christianity, it was a memory, a legend of a Pharaoh who had founded
Monotheism and initiated Moses and Orpheus. At a certain point, during the
16th century, European scholars thought that he was Moses himself
(instead of his Mentor). In other words, this Secondary Process condensed
into the form of a single 'Moses-Pharaoh'. A catastrophe resulted and could
be observed. Eventually, by certain logical means, it was concluding in the
discredit of Christianity. The Inquisition therefore attacked this legend,
and repressed it.
Four
centuries later, Egyptology has discovered a Pharaoh (Akhnaton) whose life
and deeds match the legend of Trismegistus. As a matter of fact, it discovered
also that as a Primary Process, it had been denied in its own time in a
Conspiracy mode (by his Ramsessides successors 1200-1000 B.C.). Apparently,
Trismegistus constituted therefore a secondary virtual target upon which
discredit and falses accusations of forgery (1400-1600 A.D.) could be experienced
again. When, thirdly, Egyptology (1900-2000 A.D.) retrieves anew the evidential
fact (Akhnaton, Primary Process) our time is thus informed, immunized and
ready for overthrowing the Conspiracy puzzle.
In
fact, during the 20th century, Egyptology has gradually (Sigmund
Freud, then Ahmed Osman) condensed the identity of Akhnaton into a single
'Moses-Pharaoh' and eventually, by certain logical means, concludes in the
discredit of Christianity (Ahmed Osman in 'Out Of Egypt' shows that intelligent
discernment is able to interpret the historical facts in the case of Jesus,
as the phenomenon known in Psychiatry as hallucination, which would have
resurrected the suppressed traumatic figure of Tutankhamon. Further describing
claims that this 'hallucination' as being exploited by forgery, by Roman
politicians for mass manipulation.
To
understand better this third Conspiracy scene, we review the data which has
been gained when Trismegistus was the alibi. The resulting discredit of
Christianity during the Renaissance and in the present time is identical,
though, with the experience of the past, we find even more information in
the full Secondary Conspiracy scene: the Renaissance misused the entire Greek
dimension of Orpheus in Trismegistus - thus making no less than a third of
the general civilization missing! When we superimpose this observation onto
present scene, we notice that this omission is also repeated today.
This
is where the 'vaccine' function operates, for in the meantime (between the
Renaissance the current Egyptology), the inconclusive Orpheus has been
re-inforced with the data of Oedipus (Immanuel Velikovsky). Noticing that
Ahmed Osman has severely ignored this Greek element, we can interpret and
address the Akhnaton-Moses conspiracy against Christianity with the full
identification of the Triple Master Akhnaton-Moses-Oedipus.
In
conclusion, the data known as the Oedipus Complex allow to denounce and will
allow to treat the form of Conspiracies which were chronically attached to
the memory of Akhnaton. Secondly, in seeing that the compulsive attacks aims
repeatedly towards Christianity, it is a good argument for suggesting that
Christianity was the real process meant by Atonism (Primary Process) as well
as Hermetism (Secondary Process).
The
notion of a preparation (Atonism) of Christianity and its secondary support
by Trismegistus is a classic view of Hermetism - evidently it does not identify
the true Christianity as the Vatican's conspiracy. On the opposite, it indicates
that what is real in Christianity and the historicity of Jesus will be determined
through the New Age movement, which in so many respects, looks like the
contemporary form of Hermetism.
