What are the social effects of processing Grey Literature? How can we address the modification of the social code which may result of this intrusion of the cause?

Neurology and Cybernetics teaches that auto-intervention upon one's own control or creation system may generate unpredictable results, or un-noticed, yet dramatic. Being raw material of control and creation, GL and the effects of its manipulation rank in this category. But being also 'Literature', this fuzzy object benefits for its management, from a powerful body of knowledge in the 20th century, that is Linguistics.
Concurrently Sociology contributes to an understanding of GL's effects: it subsumes that the relationships between professions, roles, functions, that form a Society, are equivalent to linguistic significations (i.e. Significands). The distinction between society and textuality - history and literature - get thus blured; but it also gives a direct link between GL and social forms, and this give a complete base for understanding the social effects of processing GL.

I present some graphics which allow to quickly grasp the very deep questions which are therefore under the responsibility of GL managers. All these graphics refer themselves to Cybernetic formulae which has been adjusted by advanced psychoanalysis [LNKlacanismeCollectif] in order to integrate the stream of civilization models [seePLATO]. For instance, one is formulating what happens to a 'cause' when it meets a fast computing interactive system[GLAIpic10] - this is the case of GL (usually at the origin of the ulterior White Literature) which is brought to our awareness by the internet, computing, network etc..(Cybernetics). If our Societies are ordered by their White Literature, the intrusion of the origin (Grey Literature) disrupts, by resonance within, the social order.

The textuality of a community - its productivity, its history - faces two options when its GL is thus processed. One is the Classical regime. In the article XXXXXXX (in IJGL) I have described how it develops within the social institutions - especially under the Cybernetic activity of the Information Technology. Observation through the Psychoanalytic model suggests that this modality intensifies a reference to a Super-ego, which preludes to a Death Drive. Fortunately, a Modern regime can be described in comparison.
A method of reflection and memory can address the irruption of Grey Literature in a society which was previously well organized by its White textuality. This ability to keep control upon the unregistered forces of GL is called Plural Analysis. One of the advantage of this method is that it actualizes at the same time the code of the institution - and consequently allow to adjust it to the situation in transformation. Extended from Psychoanalysis, Plural Analysis thus assists the evolution of the society in consciousness - as its Grey Literature becomes accessible - instead of leaving its effects in operation through blindness, random and brutal changes in the organizational code.

PLAN

--- WE CAN'T KNOW THE EFFECT - BUT ANALYSE/REFLECT and THUS ADAPT AND OVERSEE THEM

One of the most difficult attainments in Science may be to be aware of the depth of what we are doing. In addition, the status of consciousness has been most indulged lately, with the idea that the Unconscious industry may operate quite well in blindness. Awareness may not even be necessary for reaching our desired goals, and we are not incited to address the in-depth effects of our well developing science.
The question however lay open whether the Unconscious is an enigmatic metapsychological dimension or just the Environment and/or Collective Psychology awaiting to being acknowledged for humakind's new mentality. In the two latter cases we might want this better knowledge, for it is at hand.

What are we doing in processing Grey Literature? If Grey Literature can be compared to the pre-conscious or the repressed, what are the social effects when it is uncovered? As Grey Literature usualy preceeds its White formal result, how can we address the modification of the social code which may result of this intrusion of the cause?
These questions may again be ignored as science usually do while manipulating empirically Nature and its codes. Neurology teaches that an auto-intervention upon one's own control or generation system may generate unpredictable or even un-noticed, yet dramatic results. Understanding that Grey Literature is raw material of control and creation, the effects of its manipulation rank in this category - with a particularity in its case:
Being also 'Literature', this causal object benefits for its management, from a powerful body of knowledge in the 20th century, that is Linguistics.

Linguistics, as Science of Literature, provides algorithms and graphics which allow to quickly grasp the very deep questions which are therefore under the responsibility of Grey Literature managers. They show two options when Grey Literature is industrially processed. They can be described (1) as Death Drive or Progress of the social institutions when either the classical option of ignorance (idealization) or a modern Ethic of analysis prevail.
