Subject: Emerald Tablets
It would be useful to provide links to the histories of certain aspects
discussed in these areas, such as the history (as it is known) of the
discovery of Hermes Trismegistus' Emerald Tablet. I understand that this
document dates back to only about 1828 or so. Can you verify or provide links
to such information?

Hello,
Very good notice.
I do the best I can - every suggestion/indication are helpful and welcome.
I don't know anything about the date of the Emerald Tablet. www.akhnaton offers several studies about dating. for instance:
../../dna/members/akh/8artic/8vel.htm
or
../../dna/members/akh/8artic/8osm.htm - this page is interesting for it focuses on Isaac Casaubon who was wrong and involved in the Hermetica dating.
Psychoanalysis remind us that memory and artifacts are always 'secondary' - the Primal Stage/Event is hard to find - it may be automatically deleted by the process of memory itself. So the weaving of the tapestry is often a more crucial data that the raw/original material itself (see new page: ../../dna/members/akh/suba/itsy.htm#omp). For instance the fact that we don't HAVE Akhnaton's body may be one of the best proof of its historical imprint - idem for the Emerauld Tablets, the original may not be located.
You may know that the E-Tablet are on several wwwSites. You may ask them if they have informations - I would apprecitate if you could forward me their answer (most of my time is currently absorbed on other topic).
