DNA

Why should we conserve our DNA?
When you upgrade, do you
backup?
Here is the DNA double helix today |
||||
|
Genetic Engineering, to cut off diseases, correct mutations, for your own health and longevity, or for your children survival, will do this:
|
This future is already a fact in
laboratories,
and before flagrant mutations occur
Ethics will not shrink back.
Since DNA alteration is PROBABLE
It is recommended to backup,
it is wise to CONSERVE the present DNA
.
Yet there may be an another measure
Technology allows rapid and cheap analysis. |
Does DNA analysis suffice, rather that
conservation?
There is the same difference between
a person and its picture
than between a material molecule and its analysis.
Moreover the current analysis are
very rudimentary and its method is very new. They only access to a tiny
quantity of the whole DNA data, and many years will be necessary for getting
an exhausting count of the individual DNA.
In other words, except for some urgent procedures, the
conservation is the best way to benefit the full DNA data, when an analysis
is requiered, by the most evolved technologies. It is also obviously the
only way to keep the matter itself, which may conceal fields which are beyond
the analysable data.
